Cara Barresi as "Susan"
Cara Barresi (Chandler) grew up in St. Louis. She received
her bachelor’s degree in theatre performance from Bradley
University in Peoria, Ill. After graduation, she spent 6 months living
in London.
In 2008, Cara joined the Slightly Askew Theatre Ensemble in St. Louis.
She debuted in a production of “The Last Seder” at the New
Jewish Theatre. Cara developed her ensemble skills working at the
Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, during which she read for inmates at a
local prison.
Cara has appeared in three short films – “What’s the
Occasion” (currently in post-production), “The Blind Date
of Coffin Joe” (2008) and “The Devil at Lost Creek”
(2010).
After marrying in October 2009, Cara moved to London. She plans to
continue her acting career in the United Kingdom. The St. Louis
film/theater community will sorely miss this bright, up-and-coming
artist. “Blind Date” and “Lost Creek” owe much
of their artistic credibility to Cara’s sharp timing, expert
technique and soulful delivery.
In her free time, Cara enjoys fashion, music, books and laughter.
